1967 Mercury Monterey

This 1967 Mercury is one of 145 Monterey-based S-55 convertibles produced for the model year. Powered by a 428ci Super Marauder V8 paired with a three-speed C6 automatic transmission, it is finished in metallic blue with a white vinyl interior and a power-operated white convertible top. Features include a Holley carburetor, wire-style wheel covers, fender vents, front disc brakes, power steering, a dual exhaust system, front bucket seats, air conditioning, and a push-button AM radio.

Originally finished in Trafalgar Blue, the car is believed to have been repainted under previous ownership. Exterior details include chrome bumpers, fender vents, a driver-side mirror, quad headlights, and 428 and S-55 badging.

The 15″ steel wheels are finished in black with chrome wire-style covers and are fitted with 225/75 Ultrex AS4 Touring whitewall tires. The car features power steering, and braking is provided by front discs and rear drums.

The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in white vinyl, complemented by a green carpet, a color-coordinated padded dashboard, and matching door panels.
